As the leaves change and the air becomes crisp, fall marks a perfect time to re-evaluate and set new health-related goals. Embracing the seasonal shift can be a motivating way to set and work on new health-related goals. Practical Steps for Setting Fall Health Goals

1. Reflect on Your Current State: Assess your current health and reflect on your physical and mental well-being. What are your strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement?

2. Define Clear and Achievable Goals: Once you've assessed your current state, set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. For example, doing a 45 minute exercise class at least 3 days per week before work, or limiting take-out to 1x per week.

3. Create a Plan: Plan out exactly how you will achieve your goals. Simply saying you will “eat healthy” will not cut it. Include details like exercise routines, meal plans, and daily habits that support your objectives.
